As if you couldn’t tell from the picture above, the homie Elijah Dukes used to get his head right before hitting the field. He blames it on “peer pressure” (GTFOH) and says that players used to smuggle piff and coke on chartered flights.
“Sometimes I smoked before the home games or whatever, but only in the big leagues,” he says. “I was just going along with the motions, started being myself. I was going along with it. Peer pressure. You are looking up to guys and at the same time these guys are saying, ‘Hit some of this.’”
“But guys smoke,” he says. “That’s why they don’t test for marijuana.”
His dumb ass told this to a MLB shrink and shortly after was cut from his team. He hasn’t played since 2010 and essentially blackballed himself. Since baseball isn’t working out he has taken up a new career – as a rapper. Seriously. Look out for the Fly Eli mixtape coming soon.
